Probably a fiddling mascara and a little lip gloss would be fine and appropriate. Unless you lot need something like foundation/powder, don't bother!

Tink's avatar

Merely wear what you are comfortable with, not a thick layer, just alittle. And as @avvooooooo said, if you lot don't need foundation or power, don't utilize it, it might merely dry upwardly your skin. And yous don't desire that.

cwilbur's avatar

If you don't think y'all need to habiliment makeup, why would yous?

perplexism's avatar

Freshman of what? High school, college? Who says you take to wear make-up? I don't know about you, but I can appreciate natural dazzler.

peyton_farquhar's avatar

None. Why would a freshman girl want to wear makeup? Meliorate to sleep in.

howto's avatar

i have to commencement waking up super early for pond and i dont want to look horrible

avvooooooo's avatar

@peyton_farquhar A striking of mascara and a hitting of lip gloss takes less than 2 minutes if yous get used to it. :)

PandoraBoxx's avatar

If y'all have to have PE this year, as well much makeup will be hard to manage at school. You'll perspire it off, and and so be late for your next class putting it back on.

Why would you wear make-upwardly to get into the puddle before school? No one's looking at y'all at 6:30 am.

Sarcasm's avatar

None.

kheredia's avatar

I've never worn foundation or pulverisation. I'1000 26 years old and still wearable just a fleck of middle make up and lipstick. I retrieve the natural look is so much nicer. Especially on a younger daughter. Just don't over exercise it. At your historic period you really don't need much make upwardly.

cyn's avatar

J0E's avatar

A couple inches.

soar's avatar

Hmm. Sounds like you lot're simply doing it considering everyone else is.
Don't. If you lot similar yourself without makeup and then you don't need whatsoever.

If you all the same want to then put a little mascara and eyeliner. Don't need much else.

PerryDolia's avatar

Article of clothing as petty as possible. You are perfect just similar you are.

casheroo's avatar

I wouldn't habiliment it unless you want to, don't exercise information technology because of peer force per unit area.

I recollect lip gloss is really the appropriate makeup for someone your age. You can wear more for special occasions like dances.

SeventhSense's avatar

Goose egg. You lot will never look as good or your skin as fresh and tight as it is now. Enjoy it while you can. Cover it up when you're 50.

SeventhSense's avatar

@casheroo
did your avatar background get orange or is that my browser?

photographcrash's avatar

my basic brand up routine (which I've been doing for years at present) is a piffling night eyeliner (on the bottom eyelid only), a touch of mascara, and a little lipgloss or tinted chapstick. takes well-nigh 3 minutes and looks very natural.

answerjill's avatar

I didn't article of clothing whatever makeup in high school, only if I had to make any suggestions, I'd go with lipgloss or tinted lip lotion. Likewise, if you lot are looking tired, a light brushing of blush can assistance y'all look more awake. Merely wear makeup if it makes you feel good.

Judi's avatar

If y'all need foundation, just go a tinted moisturizer with at least SPF fifteen. It's never to early to start protecting your pare.

Likeradar's avatar

@howto Yous hateful for later on swimming, right? I'g trying to figure out why you lot'd want mascara running downwards your face. :)

If yous really desire to article of clothing makeup, I'd get for a spot of concealer simply where you need information technology, a glaze of mascara, and light lip gloss. A small corporeality of shadow or eyeliner can be fun as well. Or go barefaced. Just don't be the overly made-up girl.

I didn't wear makeup til I was well into college. In that location'due south just no need for it.

skfinkel's avatar

What virtually wearing makeup when you lot get dressed up to get out on dates, and but the bare minimum to none for school, when in reality, information technology sounds similar y'all are upwardly to lots of other stuff. Yous volition be appreciated for your natural looks in either case.

cyn's avatar

@SeventhSense We're doing information technology for @cak. :) to show our support.

le_inferno's avatar

Okay, honestly, don't listen to what guys accept to say virtually make-up. They don't know shit. What they exercise know is what looks good. If you know how to practice make-upward finer, then that'southward all that matters. 99.9% of the time a guy will say "I like a natural look." That's great. Make-up is meant to heighten your "natural expect" to trick people into thinking yous look better :P

I completely disagree with @PandoraBoxx. What girl sweats off their make-up in a loftier school PE grade? After iv years of high school that never happened to me, nor anyone I know. (I'd also like to point out I can't remember more in one case or twice I actually sweat during gym class.. haha)
I also disagree with @cyndihugs. Top eyeliner is a wonderrrful thing if you can do it right. It merely tin can't be also thick.

I don't get why everyone's all well-nigh just "lip gloss and mascara." Only if you're gonna article of clothing something on your lips, brand sure information technology looks natural to your color and isn't all gooey looking. Personally, I remember centre-liner+mascara is a necessity. (I wear a face powder crusade I get shiny, just that function'due south up to you) If y'all call back applying (pencil) liner to the waterline on the bottom of your center is too intense, just utilise a hint of information technology along the lash-line and only go near halfway. If you exercise top, use liquid. Go thin along the lash-line and thicker towards the edge. Trust me, if you do it right, it's barely even noticeable, but volition make a globe of difference :)

Don't article of clothing eyeshadow often. I got in a bad habit of falling in love with a grayness smokey middle await and then started to feel naked without it :X Save that for days you really want to await skillful.
So that'southward my advice, from a but-graduated-loftier-school-educatee to an incoming freshman. I suffered many make-up false pas to arrive at where I am now, so accept advantage of the fact that you can skip all the apprentice crap I did. (Rookie mistakes = pencil liner on top, usually looks messy.. crappy eye shadow application.. too much powder..) Then exercise what you volition with my wisdom! Here'southward to you lookin hawt.

Judi's avatar

When I was a teenager my mom took me to a Mary Kay party. I learned hands on how to apply make-up correctly then I wouldn't await likw a clown.
It was one of those "all-time things I e'er did" type things at the time. I love make-up but I probably would have made a few atrocious mistakes if I hadn't learned how to exercise it correct from the starting time.

wundayatta's avatar

Let me expect in the "Consummate Transmission for Freshman Girls."

Oops. I seem to have misplaced information technology. Deplorable. But the answer is in that location, for certain!

Jess's avatar

None. I'm dead serious when I say girls look mode more pretty, real, absurd and outgoing when they're just natural…....

Judi's avatar

@Jess;
you would be surprised at how many girls wear make-up that you don't even know.
My personal rule is that I desire people to say "she has pretty optics " Not, " She has pretty eye shadow. "
if someone compliments my make-upward I know I have to much on.

answerjill's avatar

I agree with Judi—I recollect that many guys who say that they like the "natural-wait" downwardly realize that those women are wearing at to the lowest degree a piffling makeup.

desiree333's avatar

Are you a freshman to high school or higher?

For the face:
-You should wear some foundation then pulverization to set it to keep it on all day. (you lot can use titnted moisturizer if you don't like liquid)
-utilize a little blush on the apples of your cheeks

For the eyes:
-but curl your lashes, then put 1 coat of mascara on (if you only want to pay for drugstore products, I advise the covergirl lash smash)
-utilise some liner on your top lid, and put a low-cal eyeshadow (calorie-free brown or something), and then put a medium colour on your crease (toupe, or medium brown)

Thats probably all you lot need to do, and if you lot want to enhance your beauty and non await like your wearing makeup simply contour and highlight your confront just to define your features. If your not sure what I mean or how to contour/highlight in the right areas and do it properly merely ask me.

Judi's avatar

@desiree33;
specific colors would depend on her skin tone and eye color. Unless she links a moving-picture show of her face, And a description of her skin blazon, I don't think applying make-upward the same style you do is audio advice at all.

answerjill's avatar

I first started wearing makeup when I was well-nigh half-way through higher. I had no idea what to purchase or how to apply the stuff. And so, I went to a counter in a department shop and a helpful sales associate helped me find my colors and showed me how to put them on. I didn't buy everything that she recommended, since department store makeup tin be very pricey. It did give me a proficient get-go, though. I bought some things from her, kind of similar a starter-kit. Plus, once I had ideas for which colors to pick, I was able to buy cheaper makeup on my own. You lot just accept to be firm if the SA pressures you to buy besides much. Also, you may not like the fashion that she applied your makeup. Yous tin always visit another one next fourth dimension!

chyna's avatar

@SeventhSense Apparently I need to block on some makeup at the avant-garde age of l.
@howto If you absolutely want to article of clothing mascara before swimming, get a water proof one. That style, it isn't streaking downwards your face or caked nether your eyes when yous get out of the water.

le_inferno's avatar

@chyna Mehhh.. water proof mascara sucks. It's actually sticky and a nightmare to take off, and it'south non even really waterproof. At least, not enough to last through swimming in a pool. I've tried it. The black still rubs off a little on to your skin, and and so it's Incommunicable to get off. And information technology clumps your lashes together really bad.

@desiree333 Nah.. if she wants drug-store mascara, the way to go is Great Lash. rated #one by every establishment that spends time rating mascaras. I use it and can back up that it'due south great

chyna's avatar

@le_inferno Information technology's always worked for me. I even pick up the cheapest brand, because I'm merely going to use it a few times. I've never had a problem getting it off either, I merely utilise cold cream.

Judi's avatar

@le_inferno ; y'all need to apply the skilful stuff.

spittingamethyst's avatar

To me, it never mattered how much. It was how y'all used it and your personal preference. Simple. Don't stress over nothing.
